Vietnam approved use of Russian vaccine “Sputnik V”

In Vietnam, the use of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine was allowed in emergency cases. Interfax reports this with reference to the country’s government.

So far, only the AstraZeneca vaccine has been approved in the country.

It is noted that, according to the Minister of Health of Vietnam Nguyen Thanh Long, Hanoi will enter negotiations with Moscow on the supply of 60 million doses of the Russian drug. The country will also enter negotiations with Pfizer on the purchase of 30 million doses of their vaccine in 2022.

Sputnik V has begun coronavirus vaccination in San Marino. the secretary for health and social security of the republic Roberto Chavatta said that the first vaccinations will be given to local doctors. Vaccinations will be voluntary.
