Woman stopped dyeing her hair and gained popularity on social networks

A British woman stopped dyeing her hair, saved thousands of pounds and became popular on social networks. Reported by the Daily Star.

51-year-old Georgia Zaris from Surrey became a brunette in 2000 when she got a job in advertising. Since then, she has spent about six thousand pounds (600 thousand rubles) annually on professional tools and services of masters, toning her gray hair.

“My hair got dry due to the constant staining. There were no more bids as they were deemed old. But I continued to dye because I thought it was society demanded of me. Noticing the first gray hair, I started a struggle.” – shared the heroine of the material.

After all beauty salons closed in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic, Zaris tried to maintain her dark hair color with online courses. However, soon the woman got tired of the procedure, and she decided to find a natural appearance.

Thus, in April 2020, the British woman started a blog at Instagram , where she published photos of her gradually graying hair. At the moment, 21.7 thousand people have subscribed to it.

“My 12-year-old daughter didn’t like it. She thought that I would look old, unkempt, and people would laugh at me. But her opinion changed as the number of my followers grew, and on the streets I began to receive compliments from strangers, “concluded Zaris.

Earlier in February, Russian singer Philip Kirkorov showed a photo with a completely gray head on social networks and surprised his fans. The photo shows that he has grown gray hair, but one of the front strands remains dark. “Philip, look awesome! Take it to the next level”, praised his fans.
