Former US President Donald Trump explained the refusal to return to Twitter with the phrase “not the same.” The politician announced this on the air of the Newsmax TV channel, the recording was saved on YouTube.
In his opinion, the microblogging network has become boring, so he does not plan to register there again.
“Millions of people are leaving [Twitter]. They are leaving because he is no longer the same, I can understand that (…). Twitter humiliated us (talking about Trump supporters – approx.” Lenta.ru “), noted my entries with all sorts of flags. Whatever I say – they marked everything. It’s a shame. At the same time, representatives of another country wrote whatever they wanted, and Twitter did nothing about it (for example, the Iranian authorities repeatedly threatened Trump with revenge – approx. “Tape .ru “)”, – Trump said.
The politician added that his team is thinking about creating their own platform. According to him, he and his supporters already enjoy tremendous support.
Twitter indefinitely blocked Donald Trump’s account in January due to “the risk of further incitement to violence.” In addition, the management of the social network promised to block the account of any user who gives him the floor.
