German Chancellor Angela Merkel called the condition for the victory of earthlings over the coronavirus at a press conference following the virtual meeting of the G7, RIA Novosti reports.
According to Merkel, the coronavirus pandemic will be defeated when all people on the planet are vaccinated. She explained that the continued spread of the virus on a large scale contributes to its mutation. “This will reduce the effectiveness of vaccines. Therefore, this must be prevented, everyone must participate,” the Chancellor added.
On February 10, Merkel announced the extension of the lockdown introduced in the country on November 2 last year until March 7. She announced that the third wave of coronavirus has already emerged, and it is necessary to fight it.
