Germany did not disclose data on investigation of Navalny case

The government of the Federal Republic of Germany began to disclose information about which agency found traces of toxic substances during the investigation of the case of Alexei Navalny (he is the founder of the FBK, included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of organizations performing the functions of a foreign agent), said a member of the Bundestag, a member of the committee on international cases from the faction “Alternative for Germany” Anton Friesen in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

“Imagine that several persons enter Germany with a person who has been poisoned by a very dangerous nerve agent. Plus items that also have traces of poison. And when asked if these items were transported correctly, the federal government replied that they are not interested, “the politician said.

He criticized the entire information policy of the German state on this issue: according to him, Germany leaves undisclosed important information on the case of the Russian. “Russian requests for legal assistance: secret. Russian investigators in Germany: secret. Who visited Navalny in the hospital: we do not know,” the agency quotes Friesen as saying.

On February 2, the court replaced Navalny’s suspended sentence with a real one, sentencing him to 3.5 years in a general regime colony. This decision drew strong criticism from Western countries.
