US congressman contracted coronavirus after Pfizer vaccination

Member of the US House of Representatives, Democrat from Massachusetts Stephen Lynch contracted the coronavirus after being vaccinated with Pfizer / BioNTech. This is reported by CNN with reference to representatives of the legislator.

Lynch is asymptomatic and will quarantine and perform his duties remotely.

On Friday, the legislator passed the test, its result was positive. It is noted that shortly before that, one of his subordinates was infected. As the representatives of the congressman specified, he was injected with the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine until January 20.

Earlier in January, five people died in Switzerland after being vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine. It is noted that at the moment there have been 42 reports on the alleged side effects of the drug that arose after the first phase of vaccination. Of these, 16 cases are classified as serious, and five were fatal.

Prior to this, 79 Lithuanian doctors, who were vaccinated with Pfizer and BioNTech, contracted the coronavirus. The Lithuanian infectious disease specialist explained this by the fact that doctors were already infected at the time of vaccination.
