DNF 4.6 package manager release

Available package manager release DNF 4.6 , which is the default for Fedora Linux and RHEL 8. DNF is a fork from Yum 3.4, adapted to work with Python 3 and uses the hawkey as a backend for dependency resolution. Compared to Yum, DNF has a noticeably faster operation, lower memory consumption and better dependency management.

In the new version, support for “comps “, a metadata file for dividing packages into functional groups. An option has been added to the filter_modules directive to filter out obsolete versions based on the module_obsoletes parameter. The log dnf.log provides reflection of packages installed or removed via DNF API. Added functions to the API to load the repository cache.
