Google uncovers Tilt Brush, a paint program using 3D helmets

Google announced to open source Tilt Brush , a paint program that allows you to create 3D drawings in your surroundings using a VR headset. The code is written in C # and open source under the Apache 2.0 license. Most VR headsets are supported, including Oculus Rift, HTC Vive VR, Windows Mixed Reality, Valve Index, PlayStation VR, and Oculus Quest VR.

Requires the engine Unity 2018.4.11 and SteamVR .
In the published version of Tilt Brush, due to license problems, some of the originally used components have been replaced with open counterparts Sonic Ether Natural Bloom , FXAA , Kino Vignette and Tilt Shift . Derivatives require a name change when creating derivative works as Google does not grant third party rights to use its Tilt Brush trademark.
