Google presented web browser release Chrome 88 . At the same time available stable release of the free project Chromium , which is the basis of Chrome. Chrome browser differs in the use of Google logos, a system for sending notifications in case of a crash, modules for playing protected video content (DRM ), the system for automatic installation of updates and transmission when searching for RLZ parameters. The next release of Chrome 89 is scheduled for March 2.
General changes in Chrome 88 :
- Profile support is enabled for a small percentage of users to separate user accounts. The user can create a new Chrome profile and configure it to activate when connected to a specific Google account, which will allow different users to share their bookmarks, settings and browsing history. When trying to log into an account linked to a different profile, the user will be prompted to switch to that profile. If the user has a binding to several profiles, he will be given the opportunity to select the desired profile.
