Tribblix 38 Launches: OpenSolaris & Illumos Tech

The release of the Tribblix 38 distribution has been published, based on the developments of the Illumos project, which continues the development of the OpenSolaris kernel, network stack, file systems, drivers, libraries and a basic set of system utilities. The project tries to preserve the classic retro style of Solaris while using modern versions of the programs. The kernel and command line tools are borrowed from Illumos, and everything else is rebuilt using its own build system. SVR4 packages are used to distribute programs. Xfce, MATE and Enlightenment are offered as graphical environments. Ready assemblies are generated for x86_64 systems.
